Hello, I'm Taylor, founder of The Children's Table, mother of two, and a lifelong advocate for children's growth and well-being.
My path to early childhood education has been shaped by many experiences. Before opening The Children's Table, I built a career in clinical research, where I learned the value of careful observation, lifelong learning, and supporting healthy development. Earlier in my life, I also spent several years working as a nanny, forming meaningful relationships with children and families and discovering how much I loved helping young children learn and grow.
After becoming a mother myself, I felt called to make a change. While my work in research was rewarding, I realized that what mattered most to me was nurturing children during the precious early years of life. That realization led me to create The Children's Table—a warm, home-like preschool inspired by Waldorf education and a deep respect for childhood.
I believe children learn best through meaningful play, creative exploration, rich stories, practical experiences, and connection with the natural world. Time outdoors, seasonal rhythms, and opportunities for wonder are woven into our days. Just as importantly, I strive to help children develop emotional awareness, resilience, and the skills to navigate relationships with confidence and kindness.
My hope is to create a space where children feel safe, capable, and deeply valued—a place where childhood is honored and families are welcomed into a caring community.
